In the Details

As I write this, we are about 3 weeks away from showing Madison Sterling Jewelry for the first time at Atlanta Market! Just typing that sentence nearly sent me spiraling … again! Underneath the overstimulated brain & exhaustion, I am in absolute amazement of how the LORD has brought us to this place.

This “big step” for our company is a culmination of a thousand “baby steps” over many years … steps that were often frustrating, confusing, discouraging & just NOT fun. I wish I could tell you I was one of those “boss babes” with all the answers. I wish the Lord would have sent down from heaven a master business plan.

While He did not send down that detailed, “all in one” guide, as I wished, He did, without question, guide every step of the way. He pushed me along when I wanted to settle. He opened doors that I could not. He closed doors I was bent on entering. He calmed fears that felt paralyzing. He strengthened me to keep moving after great losses when I wanted to cave. He dried many tears, picked me up, held my hand & encouraged me through others.

And THAT, dear friends, is how we’ve come to a beautiful place of opportunity in this business! It’s by the hand of the Father & not our own. Years ago I read this statement … “God doesn’t need our success. He wants our surrender.” What sweet relief to surrender, arms held high, to the One who knows ALL things perfectly … & doesn’t expect perfection.

If you’re in a place of dreaming big, don’t be discouraged by the small beginnings & slow seasons. God is in the smallest of details and that’s where He prepares us for the mountains & valleys. With Him, it’s going to be so good & right on time!

If you’re in a place of discouragement, I pray you know that He’s right there with you. Waiting on Him is never wasted time. Asking for His wisdom is not weakness. In fact, His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

2 Corinthians 9:12 - “But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

May this NEW YEAR be a journey of seeing God work beautifully & powerfully in all the details! Oh how He works when we surrender, trust & obey. I pray you find joy in the every day walk with Jesus & find new discovered strength that only He can give. I am praying & expecting that for you!

With love,

Mandy
